THE PROBLEM

Test coverage is stuck in a separate tool, disconnected from your data

That means switching tabs to check a number that has nothing to do with the findings you're fixing. Aikido shows coverage next to your code quality and security findings, for the same repo, file, and line.

THE SOLUTION

Coverage, code quality and security

Aikido shows test coverage in the same platform as your other code quality and code security data.

Unified and integrated
Aikido reports coverage next to your other code quality and security findings.
Stay in one place
Match code quality findings to code coverage without leaving Aikido
Improve your reporting
Coverage is part of the platform, alongside SCA, SAST, secrets, IaC, containers, AI Code Analysis, and AI Pentest.

What code coverage unlocks for your teams

See which repositories are under-tested

Compare overall coverage across the repos connected to Aikido.

Find gaps in your codebase

Open a repository and browse uncovered files in the code tree or file list.

Track whether coverage is improving

Use coverage over time as you add tests or clean up dead code.

Pair coverage with quality work

When a repository scan or PR check flags a file, check whether that file is tested.

Code coverage is part of Aikido code quality

Coverage down to the line

Open any file and see line by line what your tests run and what they never touch, checked against the source.

Gate PRs on coverage

On GitHub, a pull request that drops coverage below your threshold won't merge. Other platforms are coming soon.

Works out of the box, across your stack

Native integrations for GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, plus custom uploads for CircleCI, Jenkins, and others.

FAQs about Code Coverage

Which test runners are supported?

Any runner that produces an LCOV or Cobertura report. Jest and pytest-cov write LCOV natively. Others work if they can export either format.

Which source hosts are supported?

GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, and Azure DevOps, all native.

Other CI like CircleCI and Jenkins upload through a custom integration.

Do I need to run a server?

No. Coverage is part of the Aikido platform. You add an upload step to your CI and get results in Aikido, nothing to host.

How is code coverage priced?

It's free on every paid plan, Basic through Enterprise, with no per-line-of-code metering. The free Developer plan doesn't include it.

Is my source code stored?

No. The coverage upload doesn't include your source code. It only records which files and lines your tests covered, tied to the repo, commit, and branch.

How is Aikido Code Coverage different from a standalone coverage tool?

A standalone tool keeps coverage in its own dashboard, disconnected from where you triage and fix findings. Aikido brings code coverage into the same platform where your other findings live, improving developer experience, and reducing your cost and maintenance work.
